Pro-life Congressman Andy Biggs (R-AZ) joined Students for Life Action recently for a virtual townhall.
On that townhall, Congressman Biggs thanked President Trump for standing up to Speaker Pelosi during the coronavirus fight. Speaker Pelosi was trying to use coronavirus funding to increase funding to Planned Parenthood; Pelosi is oftentimes a servant of the abortion industry.

Students for Life Action has been leading the way on urging Congress not to use the coronavirus to increase funding to the abortion industry, getting over 5000 pro-life activists to contact their elected officials urging them to reject Pelosi’s scheme.
We wrote, “Speaker Pelosi is trying to exploit the coronavirus crisis to increase funding for abortions and direct more of your taxpayer-dollars to Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry. We must stop her! Legislation currently pending in the U.S. House, H.R. 6800, is supposed to help people afflicted by the coronavirus crisis–but Speaker Pelosi wants to hijack the bill to fund abortions!
This spring, Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry have selfishly hoarded personal protective equipment and have continued to commit abortions and, even, open new abortion facilities, exploiting the current crisis for their own monetary gain.”
H.R. 6800 remains in the U.S. Senate, awaiting a vote.
Kristan Hawkins, president of Students for Life Action, has also warned about the abortion industry’s plot to exploit the coronavirus.
She wrote, “In some unprecedented power grabs, abortion advocates are using the crisis of the coronavirus to infiltrate the medical profession and taxpayer resources with political overreach that attempts to make the business of abortion the one thing in America that doesn’t come to a halt.”
