The Party of Unrestricted Abortion Refuses to Change, Even After Their Extremism Cost them the Election

Some people need to touch the stove to find out it’s hot. The implication within this old saying is that when that person does, they will learn a valuable lesson and not repeat it. What does that say then about the Democrat Party? A party on the heels of a resounding national defeat in the 2024 elections – losing majorities in the U.S. House, U.S. Senate, and the White House itself – has decided to press into abortion through all nine months?

According to news out of Wyoming, that’s exactly what’s happened. Reporting from Jackson Hole News says, “Teton County District Court Judge Melissa Owens has struck down the two most recent attempts by the Wyoming Legislature to outlaw abortion in Wyoming… … ‘The court concludes that the abortion statutes suspend a woman’s right to make her own health care decisions during the entire term of pregnancy and are not reasonable or necessary to protect the health and general welfare of the people,’ Owens stated.” (emphasis added)

This reporting means exactly what you think it does: abortion, through all nine months, has been legalized by court order in Wyoming. The cowboy state now joins nine other states and Washington D.C., as places where abortion until birth is legal: Minnesota, Alaska, Colorado, Maryland, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oregon, and Vermont.

This also proves once again  that later-term abortion is real; something that Democrats and the media swore up and down during the Presidential election doesn’t happen. Remember when we fact checked the ABC news moderators for getting this wrong during the Presidential debate between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump?

Beyond the fact that states are on record saying they allow abortion until birth, there are numerous documented instances of late-term abortions. In 2020, the Center for Disease Control (CDC) reported that more than nine in 10 abortions (93.1%)occur by three months of pregnancy (12 weeks). That leaves almost 7% (6.9 to be exact), taking place later and late in pregnancy. Of that, 5.8% of abortions end lives from 14 to 20 weeks (five months), leaving more than 1.1% in the last months of pregnancy.

The Democrats, naturally, won’t change. In fact, we expect them to only continue doubling down on late- term abortion.

We wrote after the election results came in that win or lose, lawfare was what awaited American voters in 2025 and beyond, on the issue of abortion. So far, it looks like that prediction is coming true.
