The targeted prosecution and persecution of pro-life activists and Christian or conservative organizations has been well documented by Students for Life Action (SFLAction). Now, there’s more reason to believe that unless Former President Donald Trump wins in November, it’s only going to get worse.
According to reporting from ABC News, “Seven anti-abortion activists have been convicted of crimes related to blocking a clinic in suburban Detroit in 2020.
‘These defendants are entitled to their views, but they are not entitled to prevent others from exercising the rights secured to them by the laws of the United States,’ U.S. Attorney Dawn Ison said.
The seven sat or stood in front of the entrance to a clinic in Sterling Heights so that patients and employees could not enter, the government said.”
Compare and contrast that with what’s happening right now at the Democrat National Convention. American flags burned, police officers assaulted, buildings damaged and vandalized, and more. And if history is any indication, charges will be dropped, or cream-puff sentences issued.
It’s part of a broader pattern of double standards and prejudicial application of the law. During the Biden-Harris Administration, we have seen:
- Students for Life of America (SFLA) and other pro-life groups placed on a terrorist watch list – twice.
- SFLA students charged for sidewalk chalk, but thankfully acquitted.
- SFLA staff and students endured everything from physical attacks and arson to bomb threats and intimidation, making security issues a vital concern and expense for pro-life events.
- Catholic Groups targeted by the FBI – with no accountability for it.
- Members of Janes Revenge threatening to kill pro-life Americans.
- A sitting U.S. Senator allegedly called for violence against the pro-life movement.
- More than 40 attacks against pro-life buildings, churches and organization locations.
The stakes couldn’t be higher because there’s no one coming to save us if the most aggressively pro-abortion presidential ticket in American history wins. And as we’ve already seen with Kamala Harris’ record as Vice President, senator, or Attorney General in California, she’s not afraid to use her position or power to go after her enemies in the pro-life movement.
That’s why more than ever, the Pro-Life Generation needs a new deal with the Republican Party and the Trump campaign specifically.
