The sleeper issue of this election is the madness of sterilizing hormone therapy and transgender surgeries for minors, , something Students for Life Action (SFLAcion) has pushed back against. Planned Parenthood views it as a big business opportunity, and according to a 2022 report from The Heritage Foundation, written about in The Federalist, “Planned Parenthood has quietly been in the gender transition business since at least 2017. Today, more than a third of its offices — 239 clinics in more than 40 states — provide transgender services.”

SFLAction has been specifically concerned about the fast tracking of the sterilization of minors and the abuse of Title IX to push this radical agenda. In one SFLAction campaign, we outlined how President Biden wants to redefine sex discrimination to include gender identity and sexual orientation. This means:
- Decreased protections for pregnant and parenting women, thus posturing abortion as a more favorable option.
- Changes in definition of sex discrimination, they will mandate funding for all gender-related services, which, for them, includes abortion.

SFLAction has pushed back against the Biden-Harris Administration’s plan to force funding of “all U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved, cleared, or granted contraceptives.” By amending regulations under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, Biden’s proposal would’ve undone 2018 policies allowing entities and individuals with moral objections to oppose such services.
Then there’s the issue of parental consent. A recent news story from the Associated Press notes that closing arguments against the ballot initiatives focuses on how “reproductive care” extends to minors who are given gender drugs and surgeries, all without parental consent. While the abortion lobby insists that won’t happen, we know better; after all, the abortion lobby has been intentionally targeting kids for years.

Underlying all the transgender madness is a moral component.
Just like there are stories of regret for having an abortion, which studies show can include heightened substance abuse, depression, and suicidal ideations, there are increasingly more and more people vocal about their regrets for transitioning, like noted “detransitioner” Chloe Cole.
Despite it being interconnected with abortion, Democrats aren’t terribly keen to talk about the issue of transgenderism as conservatives have made headway in warning the public about the dangers and absurdity about this mutilation business. The issue is a huge liability for The Democrats, whether they want to admit it or not.
According to reporting from New York Post, “Conservative pundit Scott Jennings blamed Democrats’ focus on identity politics and transgender issues for Vice President Kamala Harris’ flailing favorability among Black male voters during CNN’s “State of the Union” on Sunday.
“A lot of men think Democrats care more about dudes who want to become women than dudes who just want to be dudes,” Jennings said. “And no hunting, cosplay or cringy videos are going to change that. The bed is made.”
Jennings’ fellow CNN panelists interrupted him with a resounding “No.”
Planned Parenthood isn’t afraid to make this a focus of their strategy. But why is an abortion provider and their allies in the Democrat Party focused on sterilizing treatments and hormone therapy at all? Beyond the obvious financial incentives, the transgender movement and pro-abortion movement share the same ideological framework, as laid out in the infamous Jaffe Memo in 1969.
As Matt Walsh once explained in his podcast, the Jaffe memo laid out strategies to push population control and alter the fabric of families and society itself.
In a Huffington Post article titled “Homosexuality as Population Control? Why Gays & Lesbians Are Essential to the Balance of Nature” states that “The religions born of past millennia that can’t expand to encompass contemporary knowledge about the world don’t provide the kind of self-purpose that progressive minded gays and lesbians require. Science and nature, on the other hand, can. Specifically, the science and nature of population control, which makes homosexuality essential to the balance of life.”
Without the family and church, it’s easier to tear down the Western world, which is seen by progressives as a force for evil, rather than a force for good.
In short, the entire transgender and abortion movement is focused on destruction: of life, of self, of religion, of civilization itself. Calling it dangerous would be an understatement.
